Ok, I put the windows xp professional x86 disk into my dell xps lx.. The setup loads the usual files.. I tried pressing f5 and changing it from loading the acpi. I had trouble loading drivers that work from there. But is there any kind of ACPI text setup driver. That works with this computers ACPI stuff I just don't like it..
